Providence is calling a Per Diem, Occupational Therapist to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA.
In this position you will:
The Occupational Therapist is a licensed professional who is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Demonstrate proficient clinical knowledge and skills in providing and initiating treatment programs for individuals with physical impairments.
Utilizing a collaborative team approach, the Occupational therapist accurately assesses patients’ needs: identifies and initiates appropriate Occupational therapy interventions.
Provide care to; pediatric, adolescent, young, middle and older adult patients.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California State Occupational Therapy License
Good working knowledge of general and specialized clinical equipment.
Fluent ability to understand oral and written English, including English text.
Ability to perform all Occupational requirements pertaining to delegated tasks.
Ability to organize and prioritize work, completes assignments on time.
Ability to establish and maintain a courteous and cooperative working relationship with patients, families and coworkers.
Ability to type and use a computer efficiently.
Ability to work effectively independently and with a team
