Providence is calling a per diem, day shift Dietitian Technician to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA.
AVAILABLE TO WORK FOUR (4) HOURS SHIFTS (EVERY SUNDAY AND THIRD (3RD) TUESDAYS OF THE MONTH)
MUST BE FLEXIBLE
In this position you will:
Oversee and provide paraprofessional nutritional care to hospital patients.
Providespatient care to the following age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young, middle and older adults.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Diet Technician, Registered (DTR)
Ability to establish and maintain a courteous and cooperative (service-oriented) working relationship wiht patients, families, visitors, hospital staff and co-workers
Ability to fluently speak, read and write and understand the english language
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position as defined on the RU-91 form
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
One year dietetics experience in a hospital setting
Experience with an electronic medical and diet office system
