Providence is calling a Senior Project Manager, Finance to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, Finance to provide focused project leadership for high value improvement projects and strategic initiative deployment projects sponsored by the financial services for Providence Strategic and Management Services (PSMS). This position works in collaboration with leadership at PSMS finance and the Providence markets to deliver high quality solutions on time, within budget, and addressing all required scope, while maintaining alignment with the portfolios of PSMS finance leaders.

In this position you will:

  • Support the achievement of administrative transformation goals directly attributable to the areas of accountability for the PSMS VP Finance/CFO.

  • Provide project status updates and communicate issues and risks on a frequency and in a format as defined by the Senior Director of Finance Project Management.

  • Prepare reports, plans and budgets to implement projects assigned.

  • Follow the standards as established for the Finance Project Management Team (stage gate process, templates, reporting etc).

  • Demonstrate ability to manage M&A finance integrations for new affiliations with responsibilities in integration strategy development, planning and implementation.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, partnering with clinical leadership and analytics. Must exhibit proficiency in managing data driven projects and possess strong analytic skills.

  • Monitor and present information in a statistically relevant framework (ie control charts).

  • Meet project financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing a budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor degree.

  • A minimum 8 years project management experience.

  • Travel may be required.

  • Must be willing to be trained as a Black Belt and Program Manager.

  • Regular attendance is a requirement of this position.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s degree.

  • Healthcare Finance or Engineering - project management and/or systems design and/or architecture background.

  • Experience leading large scale cross-functional projects.

  • Experience in M&A integration and change management.

  • PMP certification.

  • Black Belt certification.

  • Change Acceleration Process skills.
