Providence Health & Services Senior Financial Trust Analyst in Renton, Washington
Providence is calling a Senior Financial Trust Analyst to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA or Seattle, WA.
We are seeking a Senior Financial Trust Analyst to be responsible for providing analytical support to our trusts. Providence operates 4 trusts: Health & Welfare, Retirement, Workers Comp and Malpractice. The role will provide planning, reporting analysis and enable significant cost reduction opportunities through finance support of risk reduction activities and strategic risk financing & planning.
In this position you will:
Assist in the development of the trust budgets and forecasts, and in management of budgets to forecasts.
Participate in the monthly analysis and preparation of financial statements for the trust including monthly written summaries of analysis of assigned areas; able to present analysis to senior leadership.
Assist in long range financial planning.
Manage trust accounting, ensuring accurate entries are made.
Model, test and validate pilot program performance and make recommendations to senior leadership.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
Serve as finance liaison with external consulting actuaries.
Provide finance support to Providence’s captive insurance company.
Work on special projects as needed.
Maintain and support key financial and decision support systems.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or other healthcare related field or equivalent work experience.
5 years of related experience in finance, contracting or a related field.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Prior trust experience in the area of Pension, Workers Compensation, Health and Welfare or Professional Liability
