Providence Health & Services Project Coordinator in Renton, Washington
Providence is calling a Project Coordinator to Providence Health & Services in Seattle, WA.
We are seeking a customer-oriented Project Coordinator to support the work of the IT Contracting Director and the Director, Region and Facility Contracting. This work includes promoting cost effectiveness and operational efficiency in support of the contracting, purchasing, and utilization and for performing other duties and responsibilities in support of the programs, activities, and staff of the One Supply Chain Management strategy.
In this position you will:
Provide day-to-day administrative Support for Director, Region/Facility Contracting and Director, IT Contracting as needed
Provide general office and project support to IT and Strategic Sourcing teams
Coordinate with Associate Project Manager, Strategic Sourcing to ensure effective communication and synergies among IT and Sourcing programs
Provide meeting coordination, planning and communication
Support negotiation and processing of contracts in support of overall Strategic Sourcing plan
Consult with IT team on terms and conditions and business-specific requirements
Assist in evaluation of vendor and Providence contracts and spend programs, such as software maintenance to ensure, 1) compliance with standard terms and conditions; 2) reduce Providence financial exposure and liabilities; and 3) affect terms and conditions, which provide Providence the best return of investment.
Develop, maintain and oversee the inventory and tracking of contracts; monitor and improve as needed, in support of overall Strategic Sourcing plan
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Minimum two years of corporate related experience as an administrative assistant (preferably in a legal environment) or contracts administrator
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Paralegal Certificate a plus
Some project management experience
