We are seeking a Finance Partner to focus on driving financial improvement within the Strategy and Innovation organization. The finance partner assists key decision makers in forming an objective and accurate view of operations and services and opportunities by analyzing financial information, interpreting trends and metrics. This role will complete various projects related to the measurement, forecast and reporting of critical financial results.
In this position you will:
Be a Trusted Advisor to senior leadership including EVP, SVP, VP, Senior Director and other management team.
Develop budgets, long-range financial plan and annual budget. Responsible for LRP and budget assumptions. Develop financial plans in line with strategies to achieve S&I goals and objectives.
Special projects including business plan and pro forma development, especially in new business ventures.
Operate with a high degree of independence and ownership in an ambiguous environment.
Display subject matter expertise in your supported area of the business.
Partner with leaders in proactive development of financial analytic materials and methodologies. Develop insights that support key decision-makers through critical research and analysis of operational areas such as resource utilization, organizational structure, and work methods/procedures.
Interpret business trends and metrics to assist key decision makers in forming an objective view of operations, services and opportunities. Conduct studies, productivity analyses, and surveys to identify areas for financial improvement.
Develop and provide training to leadership teams and managers regarding budget reporting, metrics and related information. Facilitate education sessions either in a one-on-one environment or in large groups.
Develop insights that support key decision-makers through critical research and analysis of operational areas such as resource utilization, organizational structure, and work methods/procedures.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a health care-related discipline or equivalent.
5 years of analytical & business experience in financial analysis, accounting or related discipline.
Advanced level of proficiency in performing financial impact analysis, risk management and data manipulation.
Expert experience in creating and using financial modeling tools, spreadsheets, and information acquisition tools including experience in interpreting complex conceptual analyses and reviewing financial modeling results.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health or Business Administration.
Preference given to incumbents with prior experience as senior financial analysts, who have demonstrated a strong ability to partner with leadership.
