  • Oversee daily study activities for assigned research programs.

  • Work in collaboration with investigators to ensure trials are managed and conducted with attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy, providing leadership to the Clinical Trials Coordinators and Clinical Research Assistants.

  • Ensure timely resolution or completion of regulatory/contract issues or inquiries.

  • Maintain effective communication with investigators, sponsors, and ancillary departments that support Providence Brain and Spine Institute (PBSI) studies.

  • Act as a liaison with other programs and departments to ensure successful enrollment of patients and delivery of services.

  • Serve as a clinical lead for internal projects (i.e. optimization of EMR and CTMS) to support clinical research as requested by the Clinical Research Manager and the Executive Director.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with 5 years combined research and nursing experience required -or-

  • Associate Degree in Nursing with 7 years combined research and nursing experience

  • Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Working knowledge in HIPAA, IRB/Human Subjects Protections regulations, GCP/ICH guidelines, and FDA regulations for clinical research

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Internet Explorer

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Society Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) or Association Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) certification
