Providence Health & Services Senior Administrative Assistant - Providence Cancer Center in Portland, Oregon
The Earle A. Chiles Research Institute (EACRI) at Providence Cancer Center is looking for a highly motivated team player to join their team as an Administrative Assistant III. This person will join an admin team of 6 who are a dynamic, high performing, collaborative team. The EACRI is specializes in immunotherapy research which focuses on harnessing the innate power of the immune system to cure cancer. The EACRI garners more than $3 million annually in federal and other sponsored research and has a research staff of over 100 team members. We are looking for an individual to support our scientists and staff members with administrative tasks and allow the researchers to focus on what they do best…finding a cure for cancer. The successful individual will be excited to join this breakthrough area of research and bring their talents and gifts to the team.
In this position, you will:
Perform full secretarial functions of a highly responsible, professional, and confidential nature for:
The Medical Director of the Providence Cancer Center
Director, Cancer Research of the Franz Cancer Research Center, Earle A. Chiles Research Institute
Research Administrator, Franz Cancer Research Center
Required qualifications for this position include:
5 years of work experience in the hospital industry or general business setting
4-5 years spent in a position of support at the executive/administrative level
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in a research setting.
