Providence Health & Services Risk Adjustment Analyst 4 in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Healthcare Data Analyst 4 to Providence Office Park in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will:
Be responsible for leading advanced strategic quality improvement and process management initiatives across Providence Health Plans (PHP).
Understand the operational objectives of PHP, provide high level analysis work (design evaluation plans, coordinate data collection across groups, partner with other analysts for reporting support, etc.).
Be responsible for leading and mentoring of personnel.
Train staff; provide input for performance evaluations and promote professional development for staff.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Lead team meetings and acts as counsel to all staff on analysis matters.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, economics, engineering/physics, accounting, or computer science) plus a minimum of 10 years of experience in data analysis or equivalent experience
High school education or equivalent plus a minimum of 12 years of experience in data analysis
Data analysis experience at a decision-making level
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master's degree and Healthcare organization/health insurer experience
