Providence Health & Services Rehabilitation Aide-Float in Portland, Oregon


Providence is calling a Rehabilitation Aide (0.0 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence St. Vincent Medical Office and Westside outpatient Rehabilitation clinics in Portland, Or.

This position will support inpatient and outpatient rehab clinics. The shift will be scheduled between the hours of 6:30am-7:00pm all days.

In this position, you will:

  • Provide overall support for therapists in carrying out the day-to-day patient care activities and treatment.

  • Support therapists, clerical staff and clinical lead/clinic manager with administrative, clerical and operational duties.

  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Perform general department maintenance and maintain inventory of department equipment, linen and supplies.

  • Work in a variety of settings.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification within 3 months of hire

  • Completion of Providence Health & Services (PHS) Rehabilitation Services Department Physical Therapy Aide training program within 2 months of employment

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Some college coursework

  • Training or demonstrated experience with Windows based software programs

  • Experience as a Physical Therapy Aide

  • Strong interest in physical therapy/health professions as a career
