Nurse Residency Program Opportunity in several Portland, OR area and Seaside hospitals!
Our Residency Program transitions new graduate nurses into practice emphasizing inter-professional, collaborative, and patient-centered care. Our comprehensive specialty curriculum includes online and classroom based learning, clinical simulation, skills development and unit orientation with specialty trained preceptors. Our Core Fundamentals program is designed to support new graduate professional development through their first year of practice.
Residency positions are being offered in six of our Medical Centers in the Portland area:
Providence Portland, St. Vincent, Milwaukie, Newberg, Willamette Falls & Seaside!

• Applications accepted Wednesday, Nov. 23rd – Friday, Dec. 9th.
• Interviews will be conducted Monday, January 9, 2017.
• Start dates will be February 6 and February 20, 2017.
• March 2017 first cohort core curriculum begins.
• Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Available to work 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts.
• Able to participate in all program activities throughout the 12 month period.
• HireVue (video pre-screening questions) will be sent to top candidates.
• Clinical Instructor references will be required.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification within 6 months of hire
Relevant training and certifications applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing; required for newly hired Registered Nurses as of 2018
