Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse Coordinator - Heart Valve Clinic in Portland, Oregon


Providence is calling a Registered Nurse Coordinator to our Valve Clinic at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN with a robust background in cardiac care. Our growing Valve Center is offering cutting-edge life-saving care to heart patients and furthering clinical trials in the latest technology for valve replacement. The clinic is based the Beaverton area in Portland, Oregon, and is seeking a hardworking, team-spirited full-time nurse who is passionate about providing excellent patient care.

In this position, you will:

  • Be responsible for team collaboration and care delivery in a comprehensive valvular heart disease program, internally and externally.

  • Coordinate multiple aspects of the valve program including new patient contact, appropriate screening evaluation and maintains communication through the initial phase of treatment.

  • Coordinate and work closely with the Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator -

  • Valve Program to ensure seamless patient care delivery through the continuum of care.

  • Be a liaison with referring providers and hospitals that are part of the Providence valve program, and will coordinate and ensure that all are satisfied with all components.

  • Collaborate with key clinical and administrative leaders at Providence, and ensure that the managers and Providers are aware of patient progression.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Current encumbered Registered Nurse license in Oregon

  • Current and valid Oregon State driver's license

  • 5 years of clinical experience in acute care, cardiac ambulatory and/or cardiac interventions

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Masters in Nursing
