P rovidence is calling a Pharmacist to Credena Health, LLC, the system-wide specialty pharmacy for Providence Health & Services in Portland, OR.
We are growing! Providence is expanding our Specialty Pharmacy program and we’re looking for someone to join the team. If you’re someone who wants to utilize their clinical skills and work with a group of Pharmacy professionals that are dedicated to enhancing the patient experience , apply today!
In this position you will:
Interpret, compound, formulate and monitor all physician prescriptions.
Provide the best possible drug therapy to Providence Health & Services SPS patients under the highest of professional standards.
Work closely with nurses and physicians to assure that patients are receiving quality care that is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Currently licensed as a registered pharmacist in good standing by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy
Experience using electronic medical records
In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-Oregon (OR) Human Resources policy #302 “Background Checks”, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Advanced degree in pharmacy and pharmacy residency
2 years of experience in hospital, long term care (LTC) or specialty pharmacy practice
