Providence Health & Services Perinatal - Clinical Nurse Education Coordinator in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Perinatal Clinical Nurse Education Coordinator to Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will:
Foster a climate of life long learning, promotes organizational values, supports creative and critical thinking and a climate that facilitates change, open communication, adult learning, collaborative relationship, and professional growth.
Develop and provide quality educational programs for the professional development of the staff of Providence Health Systems.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master of Science in Nursing or related field, or
Bachelor of Science in Nursing and current enrollment in a graduate program with agreement to complete within 2 years of hire
Current Licensure as an RN in the State of Oregon
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters of Science in Nursing Education
National Perinatal Certification
Six (6) years of RN experience with three (3) years in an acute setting
One (1) year of experience as a Charge Nurse, Nursing Committee Leader or Educator
Experience as a clinical educator
