Providence Health & Services Mgr-Financial Lab Services in Portland, Oregon


Providence is calling a Financial Lab Services Manager to Providence Office Park in Portland, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Manage all Laboratory Services Division financial operations, management information systems, and Shared Services accounting and business office interfaces.

  • Actively participate with division managers in the evaluation of new services and the development of business plans.

  • Manage financial reporting, KPI reporting, and business analytics.

  • Be responsible for the ongoing education and training of laboratory management staff in financial concepts and best practices.

  • Be the driving force to help the division reach its financial goals including leading revenue enhancement and cost savings initiatives.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration

  • 5 years of supervisory/management experience

  • 3 years of operational performance improvement experience

  • 3 years of financial management experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s degree and/or certified public accountant (CPA) license

  • Experience with multi-site business operations

  • Healthcare experience
