Providence Health & Services Home Medical Equipment Access Services Representative in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Home Access Services Representative to Providence Home Services Building in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will:
Be the primary access point for customers and referral sources ordering and buying home medical equipment products and supplies.
Ensure successful delivery and billing of medical equipment, products, and supplies.
Perform insurance verification, data entry into the Total Information Management System.
Provide quality assurance of all data elements to support the regulatory bodies and payer requirements.
Specialize in one main product line Nutrition/Diabetic, Core Home Medical Equipment, or Respiratory.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of customer service experience in a high pressure environment
Nutrition product line representatives are required to be on-call for rotating weekends
In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 “Background Checks”, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
1 year of customer services experience in healthcare field
1 year of experience with insurance verification, medical terminology and medical coding
