Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse – Critical Care Fellowship Program in Olympia, Washington

Providence is calling a Registered Nurse to the Critical Care Fellowship program at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to acclimate to the critical care department under the guidance of an experienced RN Preceptor while participating in professional development, clinical coaching, and facilitated learning sessions.

The Fellowship begins Monday, February 6th.

In this position you will:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care needs for patients in a variety of care settings.

  • Increase your nursing skills and knowledge in a structured environment that promotes progressive development while providing safe, effective nursing care.

  • Develop and demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a frequently fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State

  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire

  • One year of acute care experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

  • Telemetry experience
