Providence Health & Services Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist – Critical Care in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Pharmacist to Providence St Peter Hospital Critical Care unit in Olympia, WA.
The Staff Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care, information and/or consultation to the patient and other healthcare professionals.
In this position you will:
Provides quality patient care in an efficient, caring manner.
Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principles of safety and infection control in daily activities
Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of medications to patient, while maintaining confidentiality.
Reviews patient records and orders regarding drug therapy taking into consideration age and disease state.
Provide pharmaceutical and drug interaction information to the medical staff, hospital staff, and the public.
Recommends and initiates changes as appropriate; is successful in improving patient outcome through monitoring, intervention and patient education consistently.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Current license or eligible for license as a Registered Pharmacist in Washington State
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Prior critical care and inpatient hospital experience
Completion of ASHP accredited residency program (PGY-1 & PGY-2)
