Providence Health & Services Director of Perioperative Services in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Director of Perioperative Services to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
In this position you will:
Supervise the Main Operating Room (MOR ) which includes 10 OR’s, 2 CVOR’s and 1 HybridRoom, Anesthesia support staff, PACU, a separate 5 OR ambulatory Surgery Center( Surgery West ), the Surgical and Medical Short Stay units, the Sterileprocessing department, and all support areas for Perioperative Services.
Provide administrative oversight to specified departments through strategic planning and the annual budget processes and the supervision of the directors and managers of these areas.
Complete performance management forms/sessions with employees to coach and move employees toward optimal development.
Contribute to the hospital’s financial performance through efficient management of the functions reporting to the position.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
Five (5) years or more of progressive management experience with in the Perioperative services
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business or related field is strongly desired
Experience in collaborating with collective bargaining units
Experience in a director capacity within a magnet accredited hospital
