Providence Health & Services Dietitian in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Dietitian to St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
This is a 0.6 FTE, Day shift position.
We are seeking a registered dietitian to plan and provide medical nutritional therapy to patients in the hospital.
In this position you will:
Assess nutrition needs and identify nutrient requirements of patients.
Provide individual and group medical nutrition therapy counseling.
Partner with nurses and primary physicians to provide nutrition recommendations and education for patients and families.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
Current registration or registry-eligible with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Registration must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Current Washington State Certified Dietitian License.
One year clinical dietitian experience in acute care.
