Providence Health & Services Crisis Services Counselor Supervisor in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Crisis Services Counselor Supervisor to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
We are seeking Supervisor, Crisis Services/Counselor to assume primary responsibility for technical and patient support services including patient flow, system improvements, patient satisfaction and policy development and implementation.
In this position you will:
Supervise and provide evaluations of Crisis clinical staff according to organizational policies, procedures and protocols
Ensure staff is in compliance with applicable licensure and accreditation standards.
Resolve staffing coverage issues on a daily basis
Provide Senior Leadership with input to the development and implementation of new programs to increase and maintain patient volumes and satisfaction
Promote high levels of satisfaction with patients, providers and staff, by proactively addressing concerns through meaningful measures and interventions
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or equivalent
Individually Licensed Mental Health Professional, LICSW, LMHC or LMFT
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Two (2) or more years of clinical experience in the area of crisis evaluation and intervention in an acute psychiatric setting with an emphasis on quick assessment skills
Knowledge of general office procedures and computer skills
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Clinical management experience
