Providence Health & Services Central Supply Clerical in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling an Central Supply Clerical (Purchasing Dept, Day Shift, Part Time, 0.5 FTE) to Providence Mother Joseph Care Center in Olympia, Washington. *THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION- 20 HOURS PER WEEK- WEEKDAYS ONLY- FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE-
In this position you will:
Accept incoming freight and signs trucking receipts.
Check merchandise against vendor packing slips, check packing slips against purchase orders in information system, process packing slips, receiving documents and delivery documents in accordance with department procedures.
Deliver all non-stock orders to requesting departments/neighborhoods in accordance with procedures.
Fill all stock supply orders and delivers to requesting departments/neighborhoods in accordance with procedures.
Check supply levels and replenishes stock items on supply carts or locations. Rotate stock and removes outdated items.
Participate in performance improvement activities to ensure the development and implementation of processes which support quality care and effective work performance.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Two years experience of medical supply inventory preferred
Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook preferred

Our Transitional Care Unit is designed for patients coming out of the hospital who need skilled nursing care, end of life care, or rehabilitation for those recovering from surgery or who have a functional loss from illness, disease, or an accident. Our Long Term Care unit provides skilled nursing in a residential setting, addressing the needs of our residents through creating a sense of community and home in “neighborhoods” and providing a model of care that is resident-centered.
