Providence is calling an Assistant Nurse Manager – Critical Care Unit to Providence Health & Services in Olympia, WA.
We are seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager – Critical Care Unit to
provide direct nursing service supervision on the unit ensuring comprehensive nursing services and quality patient care.
Interviews will begin Mid - January
In this position you will:
Participate in the hiring of new employees.
Perform timely and accurate evaluations of staff according to PSPH standards.
Ensure new hire and annual evaluations are completed in a timely manner and the completion rate is not less than 95%.
Conduct progressive discipline process, including coaching and counseling under the direction of the Clinical Manager and the Director.
Collaborate with Director to update and revise policies, procedures, protocols, processes, standards, and job descriptions.
Demonstrate responsibility for department specific projects/duties.
Demonstrate above average skill in conflict resolution, negotiation of solutions, communicates positive and constructive feedback within the department and at the hospital level.
Participate in coordination and implementation of staff and Charge RN meetings. Collaborates with the Clinical Manager, Director and Educator for meeting content.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Three years of critical care experience within the last five years.
