Providence is calling a Speech Therapist (0.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR.
This position will assist with weekend coverage. There is flexibility with the scheduling.
In this position, you will:
Manage and provide Speech services to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient‘s special physical or age-related needs.
Possess skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual‘s functional level and potential.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master‘s degree or doctorate degree or equivalent from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program
Current Speech/Language Pathology licensure through the appropriate State Licensing Board
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification -or- American Red Cross cardiopulmonary resuscitation/automated external defibrillator (CPR/AED) for Medical Professionals within 30 days of hire
Specialized speech/language pathology training or experience to meet a particular department need
Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner as assigned
