At Providence, support services career areas include administrative, admissions, reception, housekeeping, dietary, food services, laundry, registration, medical records, communications, security, facilities maintenance, biomedical engineering and others. Without support services, our ministries could not function and our patients would not receive the quality care they deserve.

At Providence, our biomedical engineers apply their skills maintaining and troubleshooting systems used in both treatment and diagnostics. Examples include daVinci robotic-assisted surgery, which enables surgeons to operate using very small incisions (about the size of a dime) with unmatched precision, and the eICU, which uses a powerful computer system that continuously analyzes patient information from a remote location, providing a second set of eyes for the critical care staff. Diagnostic equipment, such as CT and PET scanners, MRI, ultrasound and others, also require the technical skill and knowledge of highly trained professionals.
