Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse – Pre-Admission in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling an Pre-Admission Registered Nurse (RN) (Utilization Review, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Assess all hospital scheduled procedures and apply guidelines as established by the hospital and outside payer agencies to facilitate payment and appropriate use of hospital resources.
Be responsible for patient pre-certification according to departmental and interdepartmental policies and procedures while adhering to the patient-focused admission process.
Provide referring physicians and office staff with proper pre-authorization results.
Respond to any billing questions or patient concerns.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Montana State
Previous hospital experience
Demonstrated application of hospitality skills in any service field
