Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse – Patient Care Coordinator Chemo Outpatient Services ($2,000 Sign On Bonus if Applicable) in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse Care Coordinator (Chemo Outpatient Services, Shift, 0.8) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Consult with other health care providers in making recommendations for care or providing direct patient care.
Provide safe, effective nursing care in a clinic setting.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Under general supervision, the RN Patient Care Coordinator works as a member of a staff that performs all aspects of clinical patient care services in the Outpatient Chemo and Infusion clinic that provides outpatient chemotherapy and infusion treatments.
The RN Patient Care Coordinator provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. In collaboration with the physician, patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the RN Patient Care Coordinator assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and coordinates treatment plans.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an approved school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Montana State or eligible
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or current enrollment in a BSN extension program
Experience in an oncology setting
