Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse - Care Coordinator - IHI Cardiothoracic Surgery in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) Care Coordinator (Surgery and Recovery Services Dept, DayShift, 0.8 FTE ) to Providence Medical Group in Missoula, Montana. - This is an RN Care Coordinator position in Cardiothoracic Surgery in IHI. Applicants will work directly with the IHI Surgery Managerto deliver quality care to all cardiothoracic surgery patients across their continuum of care. Candidates are required to have cardiac experience, preferably a portion of that experience in an ambulatory setting. A BSN and specialty certification are preferred but we will readily consider those who commit to obtain these.This position offers a unique opportunity for a nurse with career goals to developsupervisory skills. The 24-Flex position is filled by an employee who is regularly scheduled 32 hours or greater per week or 64 hours or greater per pay period which includes a scheduled flex shift of 8, 10, or 12 hours per week or per pay period that they are obligated to work unless the flex shift is canceled. Flex employees receive full-time employee health insurance benefits, even though some weeks they may get “flexed down” and only work 24 hours for that week.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Montana State
Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Knowledge of basic clinical practices, procedures, and standards
Basic knowledge of computer systems
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Clinic RN experience
