Providence Health & Services Quality and Excellence Nurse Specialist in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Quality and Excellence Nurse Specialist (Learning Center, DayShift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Function as the Magnet Program Director by coordinating activities required to attain and maintain American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Status.
Provide education to nurses about Magnet Recognition, coordinate and facilitate Magnet Work Teams, and coordinate an assessment of Magnet readiness/gap analysis.
Design quality improvement processes, and w ork to improve and sustain improved performance.
Monitor and analyze performance through data collection and analysis.
Coordinate and integrate clinical performance improvement across committees and clinical specialties.
Collaborate with Clinical Informatics and Healthcare Informational Technology for quality related electronic health records (EHR) and reporting needs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Montana State
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Supervisory experience with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master’s degree
