Providence Health & Services Biomedical Equipment Technician I in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Biomedical Equipment Technician I (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Conduct electrical safety inspections, periodic maintenance, performance testing, and minor repairs of medical equipment and systems in assigned areas.
Operate sophisticated test equipment and instrumentation.
Analyze data from inspections, performance tests, periodic maintenance and repairs of medical equipment and prepare reports on the findings.
Participate in departmental on call schedule.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Montana Driver's License with current insurance and Department of Motor Vehicle record
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Associate's degree in Biomedical Technology, Electronics Technology, OR equivalent military or technical training
Proficiency in use of computers and standard biomedical maintenance tools and test equipment
One (1) year of experience repairing biomedical equipment
