Providence Health & Services Business Development Officer in Milwaukie, Oregon


Providence is calling a full-time Business Development Officer to Providence Credit Union Administrative Office in Milwaukie, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Play a key role in helping Providence Credit Union meet its strategic membership and sales goals.

  • Proactively develop, implement, and manage strategies and activities to promote growth and positioning of the Credit Union and its products and services.

  • Maintain the credit union’s relationship with key representatives within the field of membership.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate's degree in business, marketing -or-

  • 3-5 years of equivalent work related experience with credit union.

  • Prior sales experience.

  • Experience in contributing to a sales culture or in a public relations environment -or-

  • 5 years of credit union business development or marketing.

  • Familiarity with all aspects of credit union services (lending, compliance, savings products, electronic account access, etc).

  • High level of self motivation.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to present ideas in both a business-friendly and user-friendly language.

  • Must be bondable.
