Providence is calling a Registrar/PBX Operator (on call, variable shifts) at Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR.

In this position you will:
Secure appropriate patient record and account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance, and medical information.
Perform all duties in a manner which promotes a team concept, respects diversity, and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare registration
2 years of college education
National Certification of Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
Satisfactory completion of college level Medical Terminology or Medical Assistant course
Registrar and third party payor experience
Healthcare experience, in either a provider or payor site
