Providence Health & Services Lead Rehab Therapist in Medford, Oregon


Providence is calling a Lead Rehab Therapist to Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Spend up to 20% of the time in administrative duties to support clinic daily operations.

  • Provides direct patient care therapy for service area (80% of time or more).

  • Be needed based on the number of Therapists and complex staff mix and/or multidisciplinary services.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathologist or Audiology Program

  • Current professional license to practice in State of Oregon and/or State of Washington

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire

  • 2-3 years of experience working as a therapist (Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist or Audiologist)

  • Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner as assigned

  • In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check is required for this position. Fingerprinting may be required. (PL 540 and 580 only).

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Supervisory experience/experience with management responsibilities

  • Membership in the national/state/local professional association
