Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 - Medical Telemetry (0.9 FTE, Days) to Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR. The position is 3 (12) hour shifts and is required to work variable/rotating weekends and holidays.

Providence Medford Medical Center is a Level 3Trauma Center with 168 licensed beds. It's also home to one of the only JointCommission Advanced Certification Primary Stroke Centers, and has receivedJoint Commission Disease Specific Care Certification for total hip and kneereplacements.

In this position, you will:

  • Assist the registered nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.

  • Perform duties in a caring and respectful manner that promotes team functioning.

  • Consistently uphold standards of confidentiality, punctuality and attendance.


Required q ualifications for this position include:

  • Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) course, or "grandfathered" to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements

  • Current, active certificate to practice as a CNA 2 in Oregon

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred q ualifications for this position include:

  • 1 year of experience as a CNA 2
