Providence Health & Services Certified Nursing Assistant 2, Health Unit Coordinator (0.6 FTE, Nights) in Hood River, Oregon
Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 / Health Unit Coordinator to its Medical/Surgical Unit at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR. This is a part-time, night shift position. You will work 2, 12 hour shifts per week, with hours from 7pm-7:30am. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.
Hood River is located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area between Mt. Hood and the Columbia River, approximately 60 miles east of Portland, Oregon. The county is known for its unusual mix of geology and climate and is known as the windsurfing capital of the world! The Port of Hood River has a public marina, which is absolutely beautiful in the summer. This city has a ton of small town appeal with great dining, local artisan shopping, and a great school system. Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is the only one in the area, supported by local hospice services, Dialysis Center & Care Center.
In this position, you will perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification through Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience as a nursing unit clerk
Experience as a CNA
