Providence Health & Services RN Nursing Quality Supervisor - Tanasbourne Immediate Care in Hillsboro, Oregon
Providence Medical Group is calling a Nurse Quality Supervisor to our busy Tanasbourne Immediate Care in Hillsboro.
This position offers a 0.9 FTE day shift schedule and an excellent benefits package including paid time off, retirement plans, and more. The ideal candidate possesses a strong nursing background (preferably in an emergency or urgent care setting) and excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, as it directly manages a team of 9 RNs and mentors a team of Medical Assistants.
In this position, you will:
Coordinate and manage the clinical support staff and the clinical workflows and activities within the clinic.
Function as an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing the professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding the standards of nursing practice.
Oversee the care provided by clinical support staff and initiate efforts to improve the quality and skill level of the clinical staff members.
Lead clinical staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in an efficient, safe, and timely manner that is sensitive to the patient’s physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
Ensure compliance with established clinic policies and procedures.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current state of Oregon RN licensure and graduation from an accredited school of nursing
3 years of direct patient care experience
1 year of experience in a supervisory position
Clinical experience in triage principles of patient assessment
Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Prior experience in an ED or urgent care environment
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or advanced degree in Nursing -or- related field
1 year in a supervisory position in an ambulatory setting
3 years of direct patient care in an ambulatory setting
Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel within the ambulatory setting
