Providence is calling a Senior Quality Coordinator to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a Senior Quality Coordinator to be responsible for providing regulatory clinical information and analysis necessary for effective performance improvement by developing and maintaining access to clinical information and performing clinical data analysis that allows the organization to assess and improve health care delivery. He or she will provide ongoing education to physicians and hospital staff regarding clinical data and analysis, using facilitation and leadership skills, lead team development and project completing for selected health care initiatives, will provide teams with best practice techniques and data from literature reviews, collaborative groups, and other benchmarking sources using clinical knowledge.
In this position you will:
Document and monitor regulatory processes and outcomes.
Serve as the hands on subject matter expert accountable for accurate and timely regulatory submissions.
Coordinate with, participate in and facilitate performance groups effectively.
Analyze PRMCE’s quality data outcomes.
Champion innovation and change-management strategies.
Maintain confidentiality of records or medical center information at all times.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Minimum of a BA/BS degree in Healthcare Information or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Project Management/LEAN training
Current CPHQ certification or a guarantee of obtaining licensure within three (3) years of hire.
Two (2) plus years of demonstrable familiarity and hands-on experience with hospital regulatory requirements/submissions to multiple federal and state agencies.
Experience leading/facilitating quality improvement teams designed to improve hospital regulatory outcome measures; excellent track record collaborating with departmental team, hospital leadership and clinical staff.
Experience with reporting tools/vendors.
Experience/knowledge interpreting and documenting federal and state requirements for internal distribution.
One (1) plus years’ experience developing, analyzing and presenting data using industry tools such as TOAD, SSMS, Crystal Reports, Tableau, Microsoft Office.
Abstraction and analysis of clinical data
Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Ability to measure the impact of patient outcomes to broader federal programs such as Value Based Purchasing, the HAC reduction program and the Hospital Readmissions Reduction program.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Three (3) years of relevant experience utilizing reporting tools to comply with government requirements and federal/state registries.
Experience in the development and maintenance of reporting to monitor regulatory quality outcomes and delivery to operational departments and teams.
Experience with EPIC Clarity reporting.
