Providence is calling a Senior Cancer Tumor Registrar at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA.
Providence is calling a Senior Cancer Tumor Registrar to maintain the cancer registry in accordance with the American College of Surgeons guidelines. The incumbent will prepare reports on patient care evaluation studies, annual report on registry status and reports hospital data to the National Cancer Registry Date Base.
In this position you will:
Provide follow up on patients in the registry.
Coordinate patients care evaluation studies.
Support the various cancer committees and case conferences and extract information for physicians as requested and serve as a liaison with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
Perform all duties in a manner which promotes and supports the Core Values of the Sisters of Providence.
High school diploma or equivalent
Cancer Registry experience
Must be CTR eligible and receive certification within 6 months of hire date
