Providence is calling an experienced critical care Registered Nurse to be the Nurse Manager for the Surgical ICU at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.

This is a full-time, dayshift position. Sign-on & relocation is available for qualified candidates.

We are seeking a RN Nurse Manager to provide management and support of operations of 24-hour Providence Regional Medical Center services in the Surgical ICU. This position is responsible for resource management, customer relations, and operational standards. The person in this role will partner with the Nursing and Medical Directors of this area to develop program and fiscal planning for the service. They will collaborate to develop an integrated delivery system for the assigned area and a seamless patient care plan.

This is a full-time, exempt level, dayshift position.

In this position you will:

  • Partner with Nursing and Medical Directors of these areas to develop program and fiscal planning for the services.

  • Collaborate to develop integrated delivery system for assigned areas and seamless patient care plan.

  • Conduct or oversee the hiring and orientation of employees utilizing approved interview processes.

  • Participate in collecting information and development of budgets.

  • Collaborate with staff to develop patient satisfaction improvement plans based on patient and family centered care.

  • Manage operations.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State.

  • At least five (5) years relevant clinical hospital based care, management or operational leadership experience.

  • Sufficient and progressively responsible management experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Experience with recruitment and retention practices, as well as budget, payroll and scheduling systems.

  • Management and leadership skills.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Masters Degree in Nursing or Health Care Administration.

  • Critical Care Management.

  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.

  • Nurse Executive certification (NE-BC, NEA-BC).
