Providence is calling a Pharmacist, Anticoag Clinic to Providence MedicalCenter in Everett, WA.

We are seeking a

Pharmacist, Anticoag to perform professional pharmaceutical dispensing

functions by providing prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals

according to standards and practices for patients in all age groups including

neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. He or she will be

expected to promote safe, cost-effective, rational drug use and provide expert

pharmaceutical consultation to other healthcare colleagues.

In this position you will:

  • Communicate effectivelyboth orally and in writing.

  • Be able to establish andmaintain priorities for responding to requests and follow establishedpolicies.

  • Maintain confidentialityof records or medical center information at all times; maintain patient andemployer confidentiality.

  • Perform research andanalysis to provide financial data and recommendations for use in setting andrealizing financial objectives.

  • Ensure compliance withJCAHO, State and Federal regulatory agencies and PEMC standards and policies.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor Degree -Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy.

  • Pharmacist Degree.

  • Licensed as a RegisteredPharmacist in the State of Washington.

  • BLS required within two(2) weeks of first day of work.

  • Knowledge of communityclinical pharmacy practice including drug therapy standards, therapeuticoutcomes monitoring, drug use control, drug utilization review, formularydevelopment and management, adverse drug reaction management, pharmacokinetics,and nutritional support.

  • Knowledge of technicaland quality assurance processes utilized in pharmacy practice, ambulatoryclinical pharmacy practice, patient care systems, and therapeutic collaborationwith prescriptive; knowledge with formulary and disease state management.
