Providence Health & Services Manager of Nursing Practice and Clinical Education 1.0 FTE in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Manager of Nursing Practice and Clinical Education to Providence Mill Creek Medical Center in Everett, WA.
This is a full time position (40 hours per week) and is eligible for benefits.
We are seeking a Manager of Nursing Practice and Clinical Education to direct and implement educational programs for the enhancement of professional clinical practice including but not limited to education, administration, research, and theory development; built on the varied educational backgrounds and experience of nursing staff including registered nurses, medical assistants and other caregivers in similar clinical roles.
In this position you will :
Provide leadership and direction in the creation of patient and caregiver education materials, including job aides, workflows and standard operating procedures.
Ensure ongoing excellence in patient care in all areas of nursing functionality; inclusive of registered nurses, medical assistants and other caregiver in similar roles.
Collaborate with the Regional and System Nursing committees and teams as needed and assist in establishing shared goals for regional or system educational programs; participate in shaping the vision and strategic plan for the ambulatory nursing at PMG Northwest Washington Region.
Develop and evaluate nursing and medical assistant practice standards for the continued advancement of clinical care at PMG.
Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate continuity of patient care across the care continuum.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science School of Nursing.
Master’s Degree in Nursing
WA State RN License
Two (2) plus years management experience.
Five (5) plus years' experience in related nursing field.
