Providence is calling a Clinical Data Analyst, Senior (Full Time, Day Shift) to work in Clinical Data Analysis at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a Clinical Data Analyst, Senior to be responsible for the design, build, implementation and display of business and clinical intelligence reporting to meet the needs of assigned clinical areas within PRMCE. He or she will initiate, coordinate and provide expertise in analytic projects to translate needed data into meaningful information, knowledge and insight in support of operational, quality, financial and improvement objectives.
In this position you will:
Work directly with clinical staff and teams to determine projects and reporting
Retrieve and transform data to create insight for the end user
Assure data quality
Coordinate with System data resources
Educate clinical end users
Maintain confidentiality of records or medical center information at all times
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field
Three (3) years of experience working with clinical data
Three (3) years of experience in using a relational database, data collection, reporting, analysis and presentation
Three (3) years using industry standard collection and reporting tools such as SSMS, Crystal Reporting, TOAD and/or Tableau
One (1) year of experience providing automated reporting
SQL code writing
Project Management and experience in managing multiple priorities
Ability to translate data into concise, user-friendly presentation formats tailored to promote clinical decision making that is meaningful and useful
Business analysis skills that effectively communicate with the requestor to determine specified business requirements for reporting and projects
Ability to educate users on how to access and understand the reporting end products
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong oral and written communication skills
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Prior development of validation strategies and methodology to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity
Ability to apply system required PHI security with appropriate confidentiality in all data transmission and conversation
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree in an applicable field
One (1) year of experience developing statistical models (linear regression, predictive modeling, risk adjustment)
One (1) year of experience extracting and analyzing data from an Electronic Health Record database – preferably EPIC Clarity
