Providence is calling a Admissions/PASC Technician to Providence Health & Services in Everett, WA

This is a 0.75 FTE, variable shift position.

This position will provide routine assistance in the safe and effective care of patients in a variety of age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and or/geriatrics.

In this position you will:

  • Demonstrate age specific patient care considerations for the population served

  • Perform a variety of tasks to provide safe and effective patient care which is consistent with the departmental guidelines

  • Handle pressure due to multiple priorities, calls and inquires

  • Perform as Health Unit Coordinator to provide coverage for breaks/lunches and/or sick call replacement if necessary.

  • Assist the department staff with patients in all age groups including pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients

  • Maintain confidentially of records or medical center information at all times

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High school diploma or equiavelent

  • Graduated from an accredited medical assistant program

  • MA Certification

  • Employee must maintain certifications throughout their employment at PRMCE

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Recent experiences in an acute care facility or a pre-hospital setting preferred, or directly related work experience.

  • MA-P (Medical Assistant Phlebotomy) Certification

  • Current EMT certification
