Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery/PostPartum (On Call, 12 Hour, Nights) in Centralia, Washington
Providence is calling an on call, 12 hour night shift, experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care to women before, during, and after childbirth.
In this position you will:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care needs for mother and baby.
Demonstrate strong teaching and communication skills with mothers, family members, and the care team.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) or higher required within three (3) years or 20 years of RN experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. Card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Military Training Network (MTN) upon hire.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) upon hire
Twelve (12) months Labor Delivery/PostPartum acute care experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
National certification in area of specialty
