Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse - Clinical Educator in Centralia, Washington

Description:

Providence is calling a Nurse Educator to Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA. The educator will work primarily with the medical and surgical units.

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to provide best practice clinical training and development.

In this position you will:

  • Serve as a clinical role model, teacher and coach.

  • Assess, develop and implement a wide variety of clinical education activities in your specialty area.

  • Participate in the evaluation and ongoing delivery of the educational programs.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and currently enrolled or have completed a Master's degree in nursing or healthcare related field.

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Three years of recent experience in an acute care setting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's degree in nursing or health care related field

  • Clinical background in areas of acute care medical/surgical nursing

  • Experience in nursing education
