Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse, Administrative Supervisor in Centralia, Washington
Providence is calling an Administrative Supervisor (0.6 FTE, Variable Shift) to the Nursing Supervision department at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, Washington.
The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for providing nursing service administration on evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts ensuring comprehensive nursing services and quality patient care. The Administrative Supervisor acts as a representative of administration and coordinates hospital and departmental activities on an assigned shift.
In this position you will:
Function as an integral part of the Hospital management team
Assist in providing adequate staff with appropriate skill level and staff-mix based on patient care requirements
Required qualifications for this position include:
A graduate of an NLN accredited registered nurse program
Washington State licensure as a Registered Nurse with annual renewal required
Ability to work independently and assume a leadership role to accomplish objectives
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors degree, preferably a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Additional RN experience in a charge nurse or supervisory capacity will substitute for the Bachelors degree; however, the candidate must be enrolled in a BSN program to obtain the degree within 3 years
Five (5) years of acute care professional experience (within the last seven years) with one year being in entry level management or supervision
