Providence is calling an Athletic Trainer to Providence Central Point Medical Group in Central Point, OR.

We're Growing! Hiring an experienced Athletic Trainer interested in helping us grow the Providence Sports Medicine program in the Medford area. This position will support all sports teams at local high schools, as well as coordinating and collaborating with our other Providence Athletic Trainers and our Providence Sports Medicine Physicians.

In this position, you will:

  • Provide athletic training coverage/support for sport team/school assignment(s) as directed by the Clinical Supervisor for Rehab Services or Sports Medicine.

  • Provide and assist in the coordination of activities that include injury prevention, immediate assessment/evaluation/treatment of injuries and appropriate triage of injuries.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health related field

  • Current license through the State of Oregon

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification or American Red Cross cardiopulmonary resuscitation/automated external defibrillator (CPR/AED) for Medical Professionals within 30 days of hire

  • Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner as assigned

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years of experience working in school/college environment as an athletic trainer
