Providence Health & Services Director of Community Partnership - San Fernando Valley ( Full Time - Day Shift ) in Burbank, California
Providence is calling a Director of Community Partnership - San Fernando Valley at Providence California Regional Services.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for aligning strategic direction within each Service Area consistent with the California Region and plan, organize, lead, coordinate and evaluate community partnerships and programs.
Report progress towards community assessment goals and objectives to governing boards (Medical Centers, Foundation, PMI, Facey and Hospice).
Build and sustain intentional relationships with external partners (school districts, government entities, community based organizations) that share common goals or interest in areas of identified health needs.
Develop programs based on the identified needs of underserved communities, direct grant funding initiatives in support of Community Benefit programs, leverage Service Area resources to attract new resources and increase awareness among internal and external stakeholders related to Community Benefit activities.
Report to the Regional Director, Community Benefit for the California Region of Providence Health and Services and includes matrix reporting to Chief Executive(s) in geographic area of responsibility.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Masters in Public Health, Community Health, Health Services Administration, Public Administration, or Social Services
Five years experience in development, implementation and administration of community public health and personal health (services and prevention) programs.
Five years experience working collaboratively with community organizations related to the planning, coordination and delivery of health services or health education programs in local communities and schools.
Five years experience leading community based health initiatives or projects involving external organizations and stakeholders.
Must have a valid drivers license.
