Providence Health & Services Clinical Research Compliance Policies & Education Analyst in Burbank, California


Providence is calling a Clinical Research Compliance Policies & Education Analyst. This role can sit in Providence Southgate II in Renton, WA or the System Office in Irvine, CA.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate clinical research policies and procedures throughout Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH) as well as be deployable for compliance education either in the normal course of new initiatives or for corrective actions.

  • Catalog policies and procedures at local ministries and ensure they are synced with PSJH expectations.

  • Ensure policies and procedures are updated and compliance education is provided when regulations and practices change. Conduct research compliance education as needed and as part of a PSJH-wide initiative.

  • Conduct research compliance education for corrective action plans.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences -or- equivalent education/experience

  • 5 years of experience in clinical research quality assurance, clinical research compliance, regulatory affairs, or clinical research/study coordination function

  • Familiarity with clinical research regulations and practices.

  • Project management skills

  • Ability to develop and execute a complex plan

  • Excellent communication and teaching skills

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Passion for training

  • Ability to provide training across broad institutional lines on regulations, policies and procedures

  • Ability to work collaboratively with local ministries while maintaining PSJH system expectations and standards

  • Familiarity with compliance program principles (e.g., the interrelatedness of the elements of a compliance program)

  • Ability to monitor for changes in regulation and practices

  • Attention to detail and indexing abilities for policy catalogs

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 3 years of management or team leadership/supervisory experience

  • Certification in Clinical Health Care Research (CHRC) -or-

  • Certification in Healthcare Compliane (CHC)
