Providence Health & Services Training and Quality Assurance Coordinator in Beaverton, Oregon

Description:

Providence is calling a Training and Quality Assurance Coordinator to the Customer Service Support Department at Providence Health Plan in Beaverton, OR.

In this position you will:

  • Look for improvements & efficiency opportunities within Operations in one or more of the areas of claims, customer service and membership accounting.

  • Develop and deliver technical and soft skill training, conducting auditing in claims, customer service and/or membership accounting and providing feedback on performance to Service Specialists.

  • Be responsible for revision and maintenance of Operations documentation and reference materials.

  • Coordinate the writing, editing, production and publishing of documentation with all electronic interfaces.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors degree -or- equivalent combination of education/experience

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Demonstrated skills in teaching adults of varying competency levels and ability to implement instruction modules

  • Demonstrated ability to provide coaching and mentoring to service specialists to improve overall customer satisfaction

  • Ability to work independently on numerous tasks simultaneously

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools

  • 2 years of relevant health insurance operations experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Facets navigation skills

  • Documentation writing and publishing skills
